About 24eTax

24eTax is GST billing, accounting and return-filing software built in India, by a practising Chartered Accountant who files these returns for real businesses every month.

Why we built it

Most small businesses run their billing in one place, their accounts in another, and their GST returns in a third — usually a CA's office at the deadline. Data is typed two or three times, mistakes creep in between the copies, and the person who signs the return has the least time to check it.

24eTax exists to collapse that chain. The invoice you raise is the accounting entry, is the line in GSTR-1, is the number reconciled against GSTR-2B. Type it once, and let the software carry it — correctly — the rest of the way.

What makes it different

• Offline-first. Indian businesses don't stop when the internet does. Billing, stock and books work fully offline and sync later.
• Filing is native, not an export. GSTR-1/IFF are prepared from your books, validated, and filed with your EVC — inside the app, through a licensed GST Suvidha Provider.
• Accounting happens by itself. Real double-entry under every document — so your P&L and balance sheet are always current, not a year-end reconstruction.
• Built by a practitioner. The workflows follow how returns are actually prepared and filed — including the messy parts like QRMP, amendments and 2B mismatches.
