Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know accounting to use it?
No. You bill, record receipts and payments, and upload bank statements — the double-entry happens underneath. If you do know accounting, the full ledger view and journal are there for you.
Can it produce a balance sheet my CA will accept?
Yes — trial balance, P&L and balance sheet come from real balanced journal entries, drillable to source documents, exportable to Excel/PDF, and vouchers can be exported as Tally-importable XML.
How does the bank statement import work?
Upload the Excel/CSV or text PDF your bank gives you. Entries are de-duplicated, matched to customers and suppliers by narration and amount, and you approve classifications from a review queue — the app learns your recurring narrations as rules.
Does it track loans and advances?
Yes — loans taken and given get per-party ledgers that appear on the correct side of the balance sheet, and bank entries can be classified straight into them.
